x10 Home Automation – What do I need to get my lights connected?
I really want my light to be controlled from a central location preferable to my PC and a remote control. I have an X10 Palm Pad Remote (HR10, New Palmpad) and a wall of a LW10U X10 Dimmer … There is no other hardware that I have this to work? So does the software do I need and where I can get this? thanks
The intensity of illumination x10 LW10U wall is British. I'm in the U.S. and meet our X10 products. I hope my answer is right for you. The same x10 Palm Pad Remote is used here. Is required an x10 device to receive the Palm Pad Remote RF frequencies and send signals on the X-10 Powerline network. You have found a British company with the product – link below. I do not know if my experience with the computer software will apply to you. X10.com tried the software – the software is an attractive solution – but the wall module was garbage. Today Smarthome use the form with the basic software. Smarthome wall module is quality, but the basic software needed upgrading. Smarthome offers software is advanced and too expensive for my installation. The British company listed on the following link provides software and an interface device – offered separately. Good luck
